About The Author

Natalie Condello, author and illustrator of When Moo met Floral, has always been a big kid at heart. She was born in Sydney and raised in the leafy suburbs of St Ives with her parents, three older brothers, and a menagerie of animals! Natalie grew up in a creative and musical family, and, as a child, her parents encouraged her to pursue her love of art and everything creative. After leaving high school, Natalie’s profound love of art guided her to enroll in a visual arts course.

From a very young age, Natalie’s real passion was with animals, in particular horses, so she chose to further her knowledge and skills by attending a performance horse care and equine management course in Sydney. This led her to own and operate a successful pet shop and horse equestrian business.

Meet Natalie

The most rewarding occasion in Natalie’s life was the birth of her daughter, Isabella. Natalie’s creative inner child was awakened.

She spent hours role-playing with Isabella and her toys, which gave her the inspiration for When Moo met Floral, and now she is sharing it with you.

Now living on the Northern Beaches with her husband, daughter, and three adorable long-neck turtles, Natalie believes that you should never give up on your dreams, never lose your inner child, and always have fun, create, and let your imagination run wild.
